NOT TRUE!I had a two year relationship once with a gal who had one, and the lack of concern about birth control gave a sense of freedom that made spontaneity easier.Only issue was a new-found lack of moisture.Don't worry, hon. If you enjoyed it before, and it sounds like you did, you'll enjoy it even more soon.

I've heard that after this procedure it's the best sex of your life! Be patient and don't stress over it. You are still a fully functioning woman and will fare just fine.

From what I hear from my mother, who had a hysterectomy, it's fine. But I'm not going there. It's just a rumor. All the sensations that you feel during sex are in the vaginal wall. You will enjoy sex for years to come.

Absolutely not! Once you recover fully from the surgery, which should be another 3 or 4 weeks, surveys have found that most women enjoy sex more because they no longer have to worry about pregnancy. And the fact that you still have your ovaries means you won't go into instant menopause, which can cause problems for some women.

As a heatlthcare provider I can tell you that this is not true. Sometimes women can have lubrication problems, but there are some great products (astroglide) that help this . They are even great if you don't have a problem
