I am having a hysterectomy sometime in September. I have endometrioma of the abdominal wall. They will also remove 4-5 cm growth and possibly put a mesh in.
I've had 3 c-sections.
I just want to know what recovery from a hysterectomy is like compared to recovery from a c-section.

I had two C- Sections then a hysterectomy 3 yrs later. The pain was almost the same as the C-section and healing time was one to two weeks longer. It hurts to lift anything much for a while but i was back into the swing of things, driving a car and all after 4 weeks I think it will depend more on your fitness level and mind set as to how quickly you will recover.
