I wouldn't expect a drastic weight loss from the removal of some organs, even though those organs do have some weight.

If hormone issues prior to the surgery were keeping you from losing weight, then with a healthy diet and exercise program, you should be able to take any unwanted pounds off and keep them off (hopefully).

How much you lose will depend on you and your lifestyle.
