Can you feel the penis after a Hysterectomy? Or is it just an empty space?

I really need to hear from men who's wife/girlfriend has already had the surgery.Im 32 yrs old & love sex .I want my boyfriend & myself to continue feeling wonderful,incredible lovemaking.Please help me out!
