My wife had to have an emergency Hysterectomy after having a C-section.?

1. I want to if this is common, how many happen every year.
2. I was told her womb would not return to normal size and keep bleeding.
3. My wife want to know if the Doctor could have done any thing wrong. (I do not think so in this case)
4. How can I help her.
