Default Anyone have placental accretia and not have to have a hysterectomy?

Just had an ultrasound at 18.5 weeks and it shows the placenta growing right at my c-section scar and now I will have to be monitored for placental accretia. From what I've read it seems that hysterectomy is a common treatment. Anyone else go through this?
