Default Hysterectomy options? Advice?

I'm 47 and have 2 large cysts on my left ovary. I am scheduled to have surgery to remove the ovary next month. My doctor has also given me the option of having a full hysterectomy and my bladder lifted. I had endometrial ablation done a year ago, so I don't really have much of a period, if at all. I'm so uncertain of what I should do. If the doctor decides to do the whole thing, she will probably take the other ovary too, which would definitely throw me into menopause. At this point it may not matter since I'm a few short years from menopause anyway.

Now would be a good time for me to have more extensive surgery because it is not a busy time at work. Also, my husband has pretty good insurance benefits. Should I just take one thing at a time and just do the ovary removal or do the whole package deal? My doctor didn't advise me one way or the other and is leaving it up to me. However, if I do the whole thing, a urologist will have to become involved.
My doctor is a gynocologist. She is taking the ovary because it appears that the cysts are growing from the inside out and it would not be possible to save it. I am having no other problems with my organs, other than my bladder has dropped a tad bit over the years. Nothing serious.

If the ablation worked I would just leave it at the ovary. Also why are they not just removing the cyst vs the whole ovary. You may be getting close to menopause but a few years is still a few more years. There is also a greater risk for osteoporosis once menopause is a factor natural or from a hysterectomy. You would also need to decide if you would go cold turkey or do hormone replacement therapy, that is such a big debate right now.
Have you seen a gynecologist or your regular doctor. I would seek the advice from a gyno if you have not already.
