I was off birth control for a year. i had normal periods and then in march i recieved my period and it would not go away. it got worse. the bleeding was extremely heavy. i went to the doctor and they put me on birth control and said it may be due to stress. after a month of birth control it had not gone away and was just as heavy with alot of cramping. then on week i just started throwing up for no reason and haveing diarea. (i am not pregnant, they ran that test). I called my doctor today and she thinks i have endometriosis and i am to come in on friday for some test. What will those test be and what will be in my future if i have this. will have have to have surgury?
