thickening of endometrium
Hi,
I went to the dr last week thinking I had symptoms of a uti. Testing was negative. I had a pelvic ultrasound today. It said my ovaries were normal and I have no fibroids but it said something about thickening of the endometrium. I am due for my period on the 5th so that may be the cause? A different dr had to order the test as my gp was unavailable. The nurse said the two doctors need to talk and then he will call tomorrow to discuss the results with me. The only reason I found out about the results is because I begged her to tell me. I am not sure if I got the full results or not.
My symptoms are very frequent urination, pelvic pain and pressure, low back pain, pain similar to kidney pain. I am sometimes nauseated. Sometimes the pain runs down my left leg. Sometimes the pain shoots up into my right shoulder. I have had my gall bladder and appendix taken out last year.
My periods are regular and actually have been somewhat lighter the last several months than normal. I am 40 years old. I have two teen aged children. I have not been sexually active since 1995.
Has anyone experienced any similar symptoms? I hate having to wait until tomorrow. I am very impatient and it hurts very much.
Thank you,
Cam
