Default Is infertility a woman's problem?

It is a myth that infertility is always a "woman's problem." In 50% of all infertility case male is directly or indirectly responsible (referred to as male factors).

No i think often it is from male side....weak or dead sperms, poor sexual performance and many other things are involved in infertility. A thorough doctor check up can decide that who is basically responsible for not having children.

In order for a woman to carry a baby to full term the embryo must be as healthy as possible and it must follow a growth cycle. This is affected by how healthy a woman's hormonal environment is.

It is a myth that infertility is always a "woman's problem." About one third of infertility cases are due to problems with the man (male factors) and one third are due to problems with the woman (female factors). Other cases are due to a combination of male and female factors or to unknown causes.Problems with ovulation account for most infertility in women.
