There is no way to know until the biopsy comes back. Mine looked awful years ago but it came back severe cervicitis which was a huge relief as I have a high family history of cancer. There is no way to tell if this is cancer or precancer or not cancer at all. Since you hopefully caught things early if it is precancer etc they can treat it easily with a LEEP proceedure. These are really all things your doc should have discussed with you before you left the office. He should have told you what to expect and what would happen if the biopsy showed something etc. If you are very nervous or concerned call the doc and ask him about all of this.
