Default ? OK to remove normal uterus, cervix, ovaries, breasts in a middle aged woman with

children- to avoid cancers? Cancer kills.

Common female cancers are those of breasts, ovaries, uterus and cervix.

These are female organs vital to have children and needed in the reproductive phase of a woman's life.

In middle age by 50 years of age, the use of these organs becomes less for the functions above. At the same time, the same organs start to develop malignancies, thereby reducing her life span, quality of life for her children and increased medical expenditure.

Question is: would society see these organs -when once non-functional (menopause) -to be disposable? Same applicable to a high risk woman at a younger age.

Where does vanity end and life continue?

Until we have a cure, prevention by any means could be a life saver.

Inviting your thoughts..
