HPV is a risk factor for cervical cancer. Since you have had 2 paps, I assume in the past two years, most likely you do not have cervical cancer. It sounds like you most likely have bacterial vaginosis, cervicitis, or endometriosis. Bacterial vaginosis can be diagnosed in the office. It tends to be a grey dischage and foul odor. It can also be associated with douching. Do not douche if you are. Douching causes more harm than good. It kills off your good flora and allows the bad flora to flourish and hence, bacterial vaginosis. Yellow discharge and pain with intercourse makes me think more of cervicitis which can be causes by multiple things including STDs. SO you should probably be checked for STDs if you are concerned. Finally, with your heavy flows and clots and as well as pain, endometriosis is likely as well. Or even uterine fibroids. If I were you, I would go to my physician have a pelvic exam and be tested for STDs and if negative then I would have a transvaginal ultrasound to rule out fibroids and endometriosis.
