My sister-in-law is looking to conceive soon and is due for her 3rd vaccine next month. But a friend told her she has to wait 12 months after the last vaccine before ttc.

To me that sounds ridiculous and I haven't found any info on the net about 12 months (consensus seems to be 1 month just to be sure but no official guidelines saying that).

What have you been told about this?

I have only seen warnings regarding getting it WHILE you are pregnant. My suggestion is to have her call the county Health Dept. Find out what they know.

I've had the vaccine and read the brochure. It says nothing about this at all. Tell her to consult her GP and start trying to conceive, she'll be fine.

I was on my 2nd dose when i fell pregnant. I was due for my 3rd shot on the 3rd of Jan. But i couldnt get it due to being pregnant. But there is no 12 month wait. When ever she is ready to get pregnant she can. She just cant get the injection when pregnant.
