Default Could I have cervical cancer or a cist on my ovaries?

I have blood in my discharge and sometimes just a lil blood. I have had a pap and a been tested for any kind of a vaginal infection and they found nothing. They said everything was fine. But I just don't understand because I have had some real real real bad pains down there not all the time but I use to have them alot. I am a virgin so I know I don't have any stds or anything. Its just really starting to scare me, I'm starting to think maybe they missed something. Any information would help and if you know any websites that would help. Thanks

I think you need an ultrasound. Pap smears are not enough

This doesn't sound normal. It may be your hormones. I'd go to another doctor! Go to another gynocologist and perhaps also go to an endocrinologist. You might be having break-through bleeding and that could be hormones. You say you are a virgin, but have you been put on birth control pills for your hormones? This may help with the bleeding if that is what it is.

Go to another doctor. Keep going to different doctors until you are satisfied with the care you've gotten and have some real answers. I've had to "fire" a doctor in the past. Sure enough, I went to a new one and he listened to me, actually ordered some tests and blood work, and treated my problem!

I had gone to the 1st doctor, the one I eventually "fired", for the same problem every 3 weeks-as per his instructions-for a 4 month time period. All he did was prescribe sleeping pills, which I did not want! He never ordered one test, even though I had a family history of conditions that gave me cause for concern, and I had insurance coverage. He just kept telling me to come back again in 3 weeks and kept writing a new scrip for Ambien. It was lame! I was scared too and he wasn't doing anything different each time I saw him.

The new (2nd) doctor tested me at my first appointment with him. He dignosed hormone and thyroid imbalances, and with proper treatment, I felt good again in a relatively short time.

As far as websites, just keep searching. Look for the symptoms for cervical cancer or ovarian cysts. Also look for break-through bleeding and hormonal imbalances. Keep going to doctors (see specialists) until you are diagnosed and your fears calmed. Good luck!
