I had a myomectomy about a year and a half ago. After the surgery, the doctor said pain during intercourse was normal. But now, I'm still having pain everytime I have intercourse.

I went to my doctor and after checking for another fibroid he said that I should try lubrication. We have but I still have pain.

Has anyone else had problem with pain during intercourse after a myomectomy?

I want to share this here that my sister has had a myomectomy about two months ago, and has extreme pain since. She can hardly function, she is constantly on pain medications. She has had several test since surgery, and all test were normal. I was just wondering if there is an alternative to her recovery, other than living on pain medications. Is there some sort of exercise she can do, like swimming or walking.
