Hi there. You are very young to be diagnosed with this. You will be OK to lift lighter things but do not over strain and be careful of falling. Load bearing exercise is really good for your condition, as it will help strengthen your bones along with the supplements. I wear ankle weights all day long, to start with they were hard work but I gradually increased the amount of time I wore them for and now I were them all day and do not even notice them. Good luck
